But the thirty-year-old especially experienced the loss of a loved one who helped her at the start of the process very badly. On July 4, the sudden death of Nino Vella was revealed by the record company with which he collaborated. This renowned virtuoso also worked with big names on the current music scene including Camille Lellouche, being in denial of this death until now. This evening on France 5, the pianist indicated: “My friend Nino Vella, who wrote some of my pieces, died in July. He carried this new artistic flame, it was really a friendly love at first sight and in fact he left me. It's like he abandoned me a little, it's a little selfish, in an important moment“.
Camille Lellouche pays new tribute to Nino Vella
On the verge of tears, Camille Lellouche held back her emotion to pay tribute to the man on whom she counted a lot: “He is a very great composer, singer, topliner and musician. He accompanied a lot of artists, so people who see me talking about him will recognize themselves.. He was exceptional, his music still lives and I am very happy about it. I dedicated a song to him called Ninowhich will touch everyone who has lost someone close to them.”. This is the eleventh track on the 14-title disc.
