A final for the girls
In the women's series, Guinea qualified for the grand final of this West A zonal tournament of the African U15 school football championship. After a victory (1-0) against Gambia in the first match and a draw (0-0) against Senegal, the Guinean schoolgirls validated their ticket for the women's final, which will be played against the Gambians, this Saturday December 14, 2024.
Before this final, the women's team has an impressive record of 4 matches played, with 10 points out of 12 possible: a victory (1-0) against Gambia, (2-0) against Senegal, 1-0 in front of Gambia , and finally a draw (0-0) to conclude the group stage.
A classification match for the men's series
The men's team lost to Gambia on the morning of Friday December 13, 2024. However, the Guinean schoolchildren will play the small final (for 3rd place) against Mauritania this Saturday.
After three matches, Guinea, in the men's category, collected 3 points thanks to a 2-0 victory against Mauritania, but lost 6 points after defeats 1-3 against the host country, Senegal, and 1 -0 against Gambia.
The matches will take place from 9 a.m. to determine the two representatives of the UFOA-A in the continental phase of the African U15 school football championship.
