The series will return for several episodes, with the original cast and even its creator Linwood Boomer.

It was Bryan Cranston, who plays Hal, Frankie Muniz (Malcolm) and Jane Kaczmarek (Loïs) who announced the news on social networks in small videos that were already in the right tone.

18 years after the series ended, four new episodes have been ordered on Disney+, announcement Variety this Friday, December 13. The broadcast date has not been revealed.

For now we only know that the story will take place years after the last episode since the official synopsis specifies: “Malcolm and his daughter are drawn into family chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party. »

On Instagram, Bryan Cranston shared several videos in a post. In the first, we can see him shouting Malcolm's name in an angry manner. Jane Kaczmarek then takes over, with her inimitable voice. “ It's okay, I heard you, I'm coming! » Frankie Muniz then says and the message “ They are back ».
