serious accusations against a Ligue 1 player

Former great hope of German football, today in , Youssoufa Moukoko would be four years older. The one who introduced himself as his father revealed the deception.

He is, officially, the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Bundesliga. But was Youssoufa Moukoko really 16 years and 28 days old when he scored on December 18, 2020 with Borussia Dortmund? Doubt is allowed, especially with these revelations from the German media ProSieben and Bild.

In a long investigation, it appears that the man who presented himself as the player's father, Joseph, would have lied all along: Yousoufa was not born in 2004, and is not even his son.
“Aware of the criminal liability of a false declaration under oath, I declare (…) under oath: Youssoufa Moukoko is not my biological son and my wife Marie Moukoko. He was also not born on November 20, 2004 in Yaoundé, Cameroon”he confides in comments reported by the documentary.

A fake birth certificate for Moukoko?

“I bought him a fake birth certificate in Yaoundé, continues Joseph Moukoko. With that, I went to the embassy and got him a passport, then took him to Germany as my son. (…) He was actually born on July 19, 2000. We made him four years younger. Now he was born on November 20, 2004.” The current striker for OGC Nice, where he is on loan from Borussia Dortmund, would therefore be 24 years old and not 20.

Joseph Moukoko also reveals that he and his wife were paid by the German club, for what looks like fictitious jobs. “My wife was employed by an agency that works for BVB sponsor Evonik, and I was employed directly by BVB, explains Joseph Moukoko, who says he received up to 20,000 euros per month for video analyst and recruiter contracts. So we received money every month. We didn't work. That's how we got the money. »
