Aged 25, Laura-Marie experienced her very first local Miss competition last March in her town of Biganos, on the Arcachon basin. His election was unanimous. “There was no hesitation,” confided a member of the jury.

“It wasn’t a little girl’s dream for me,” she said. “I had been contacted by several committees to introduce myself. I wanted to finish my studies first. It was the right time for me this year. » This first election took her to the regional competition which she won in October. Miss Aquitaine's sash then wraps her in promises of a possible Miss France crown. The 95th edition of the Miss France competition takes place this Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Arena Futuroscope from 9:10 p.m. on TF1. There are 30 candidates.

“I don’t really realize. I'm realizing it little by little. I received a lot of support, congratulations, encouragement,” she told us recently.

Born in Talence, Laura-Marie grew up in Arcachon. She was educated in Saint-Elme. A sportswoman, she practiced gymnastics, GRS, basketball, swimming and synchronized swimming. At 15, she went to live abroad, her father working in Senegal then in Morocco. She then studied dentistry in Portugal. Having become bilingual, Laura-Marie is now a dental surgeon and wishes to specialize in implantology.
