The Game Awards is the show where the best game of the year gets crowned, and a ton of trailers for upcoming games are dropped as well. As important as it is to recognize the remarkable games released in 2024, some people just want to see the new games coming soon.
Hosted by Geoff Keighley, The Game Awards will take place Thursday night. Titles like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Astro Bot, Black Myth: Wukong and Balatro are up for several awards, including the big Game of the Year honors. Throughout the night, there will also be trailers for some upcoming games like the already leaked Mafia: The Old Country.

The Game Awards show starts at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on Dec. 12.
