Actress Lize Feryn and sports journalist Aster Nzeyimana are busy preparing for their wedding. The couple, who have been together for seven years, got engaged earlier this year and have now made concrete plans. However, their big day will not be just a standard wedding: the two opt for a double celebration.

“Next year in the summer, Aster and I want to get legally married,” says Lize Story. “Then we will throw a small party and organize a big wedding in 2026. Not abroad, but in our own country.” The choice to have two parties came from Aster. “He thought it was a terrible idea that we would be attending a wedding and then it would suddenly be over,” Lize explains.

Rings, outfits and a mood board
Although many details have not yet been determined, Lize is already working on inspiration. “In the coming weeks I will be working on a mood board,” she says. One thing is certain: she will choose a classic white dress. “Very cliché, but very romantic.” Aster will probably wear something from their own fashion label Melange.

The rings are also planned. “We’ll have to start choosing them gradually,” Lize laughs. These preparations are an exciting and special period for the couple.
