The daughter of Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp was on the set of Dailythis Thursday, December 12, for the promotion of the film Nosferatu in which she plays one of the main roles.

Lily-Rose Depp is starring in Nosferatu, a horror film in theaters on December 25. The daughter of Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp came to promote it on the set of DailyDecember 12. Directed by American filmmaker Robert Eggers, the film tells the story of an obsession between the terrifying vampire Nosferatu and a young girl, Ellen Hutter, played by Lily-Rose Depp.

A daring role

When it comes to cinema, the 25-year-old is not shy. After having already dared a risky role in the series The Idolin which she plays a very sexualized and under the influence pop star, this time she appears neither made up nor sexy, but rather frightening.

While this choice may be surprising, the young actress explains that she was naturally attracted to the scenario. “I always loved this story and when we were little, with my brother, we loved Abbott and Costello (a comedy duo from the 40s and 50s nldr), she says. We loved the Dracula movie and my brother dressed up as Dracula.”

The cool sister

Jack Depp, 22, is Lily-Rose Depp's little brother. Much less in the spotlight than her big sister, little is known about her. In an interview conducted by Natalie Portman for the magazine Interviewthe actress gave an overview of their relationship by confiding that it was partly to impress her younger brother that she agreed to play in Nosferatu. “I said to myself: if I get this role, my brother will finally think I’m cool,” she confided. Comments that she confirmed on the set of Daily.

“We love each other a lot, we are very close. There may have been a moment, when he was little, when he thought I was cool, but now he's older, he doesn't have time for me anymore,” she added with a laugh.

Lily-Rose Depp can now be reassured, she confirms that her brother saw the film and “found it cool”. But fan of Dracula or not, the actress claims to attach a lot of importance to the opinion of her younger brother. “He’s a big movie buff so I have a lot of respect for his opinion,” she said. A bond of blood then, but of heart too.
