Thanks to Roger, this village of less than 1800 inhabitants will be able to repay its debt and launch several renovation projects. A stele in honor of this very generous donor will be erected. Roger, who lived in Paris, had certainly never set foot in Thiberville, but his ashes, as he had requested in his will, will be spread there.

This is not the first time that a municipality has received this type of inheritance. A gift worth more than 2.5 million euros then conditional on the creation of a place of reception for the elderly.
