There was a strange scene involving Emre Can and Serhou Guirassy during the BVB game against FC Barcelona. The captain clarified this after the end of the game.

Dortmund – In the Champions League, Borussia Dortmund had to admit defeat to FC Barcelona 2-3. During the encounter, a discussion between Emre Can and Serhou Guirassy caused a stir.

What had happened? BVB was awarded a penalty in the 60th minute. Can then grabbed the ball before being involved in a conversation with Guirassy and finally giving him the ball.

After the game, Can also described the conversation with Guirassy in the mixed zone to RUHR24: “Serhou felt good. I asked him, ‘Do you want to do it?’ He said, ‘Yes, please let me shoot.’ And he made it. That’s what counts and then it doesn’t matter who shoots.”
