Anger of farmers: “You are as shaky as this wall!”, the office of MP Boris Vallaud was walled up and tagged in Landes

The FDSEA (Departmental Federation of Farmers' Unions) and the JA (Young Farmers) of Landes wanted to strike hard. This Sunday evening, they covered many roundabouts as well as the office of PS deputy Boris Vallaud, accused of having voted for the motion of censure which led to the fall of the Barnier government.

“You are as shaky as this wall”, wrote the farmers of the FDSEA and JA 40 this Sunday evening in front of the office of PS deputy Boris Valaud. A mannequin was also hung from the building, as a sign of the agricultural world's distress in the face of political instability which is postponing sine the the reforms announced by the government.

The latter denounced “political calculations” which “put on hold the 400 million euros in aid planned for French agriculture in the 2025 finance bill”. For them, the situation is clear, the absence of government is synonymous with “death of the peasants”. By voting on the motion of censure, the deputy for the 3rd district of Landes was designated responsible for the situation by the farmers.
