Ravanelli wants “the entire Vélodrome stadium to sing the name of Longoria”

Fabrizio Ravanelli spoke at length about his mission at OM. The Italian has high goals for the future: “Every morning, you have to want to write a new chapter in the history of the club. Otherwise, you might as well stay at home. In this, I must be an example for everyone. I'm putting oil in the wheels. I could have stayed at home peacefully, I would have lived well. But at almost 56 years old, I still want to achieve important things. As a player, I failed to win a trophy – in 1999 we lost the championship at the last second of the last match and the UEFA Cup final. I want to leave a mark. If I succeed as a leader, perhaps I will be even more proud”the former striker told The Tribune. And he has set himself the goal of helping Pablo Longoria: “I have a secret objective: for the entire Vélodrome stadium to sing the name of our president at the end of the season”he added.

As a reminder, Fabrizio Ravanelli defended the OM jersey between 1997 and 2000. The native of Perugia scored 31 goals and provided 10 assists in 84 matches, in all competitions.
