Alexandre Portier, resigning Minister Delegate in charge of Academic Success and Vocational Education and guest of the Big Interview this Friday, has a clear position concerning the political color of the future tenant in Matignon and his government.
“My first concern is that we must prevent an NFP government,” he assures the microphone of Europe 1/ CNews. According to the resigning minister, France's political label is right-wing and the “French would not understand that we are giving them (the left) a place” in government.

Retailleau in Matignon?
“We will not participate in a government led by a left-wing Prime Minister and with socialist ministers,” he added at Romain Desarbres’ microphone. The minister also wishes to point out that the National Rally will not have more weight than other political parties. “It’s called the game of institutions. We discuss with all the deputies and all voices are equal by definition in the hemicycle,” he argues.
Alexandre Portier suggests a name for a tenant in Matignon: that of Bruno Retailleau. “He would make a good Prime Minister. We know his qualities, we have seen his commitment, we have seen his sincerity… I believe that behind him, there are very many of us, and above all, who want a right-wing policy. It is today the solution that the French expect in all areas: security, immigration, obviously, cultural questions too, the question of school”, lists the politician.
