This Tuesday morning, around 7:45 a.m., a plume of black smoke rose above the Renault garage.
Indeed, a fire broke out in a used vehicle storage room with a risk of spreading to the bodywork room and the paint booth, resulting in a significant deployment of emergency resources.
The fire was quickly brought under control by men from the Montceau-les-Mines, Le Creusot and Paray-le-Mheuresonial centers under the orders of Lieutenant Sylvain Patru.
However, the damage was significant: several vehicles were destroyed as well as the storage rooms and the paint booth.
Emergency services intervened with around thirty firefighters
Commander Desroches took over for the rest of the operations: protecting the building and inspecting the batteries of the hybrid vehicles.
(In fact, lithium batteries, in the event of overheating, can react several hours later).
There are no victims to report. Those present were quickly brought to safety.
On the scene, noted the presence of elected officials G. Gronfier and G. Souvigny, agents from GRDF and Enedis as well as the national and municipal police.
