It’s no secret that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the best times of the year to score deep discounts on home decor, but if you’re like me, simply getting a good deal isn’t enough to know what to buy.

While I like to think I know what looks good in my home, I could definitely use the advice of professionals. Interior designers not only know how to make a space look beautiful with already-purchased items, but they can also predict future home trends. And believe it or not, many of them shop on Amazon, making it easy for all of us to decorate our homes like the pros.

We enlisted the insights of Carolyn Cerminara, founder and principal designer of Cerminara Design, and Sydney Kaufman of Mackenzie Collier Interiors to help us decide what to add to our carts this Cyber Monday. Kaufman recommends upgrading your bedding while you can get it on sale and says it’s also a great time to add a new area rug to your space. Cerminara suggests adding earthy shades like clay, taupe, and blush to your space, along with deep burgundy and forest green in everything from blackout curtains to coffee tables. Natural textures like jute and rattan are also in, as well as soft, muted tones that are fresh and cozy. Cerminara says you’ll also notice “monochromatic everything” and small Art deco accents.
