Spanish striker Jesé, who never managed to establish himself at PSG, does not have good memories of his time with the Parisian club, nor of president Nasser al-Khelaïfi.
Two goals and 18 matches played. This is the poor record of Jesé (31 years old) during his time at PSG between 2016 and 2020.
An experience, punctuated by several loans, of which the Spaniard does not have good memories.
It's difficult to be otherwise and the converse is surely true too. Now exiled in Malaysia, the former Real Madrid player has severely attacked the Parisian club, and in particular its president Nasser al-Khelaïfi.
Contract terminated in December 2020
“The president didn't even want to see me in painting,” declared the Spanish freestyler Mowlihawk on YouTube, the one who had been purchased for 20 million euros.
“I don’t know if he loved my wife more than me. They gave me no explanation. (…) I had the impression of dealing with a billionaire guy who uses players as if they were badges,” added Jesé, assuring that he had been “treated very badly”.
And while Unaï Emery was the PSG coach when he arrived, he did not understand why he was dismissed. “At PSG, I started with an assist in the first match (in Bastia, Editor's note), but then I was sidelined for two months because of appendicitis and the following winter, I was said I had to leave,” he said.
In January 2017, he was loaned to Las Palmas before continuing the following season with a new loan to Stoke City, then another to Betis Sevilla and a last one to Sporting Portugal.
His contract was finally terminated in December 2020, leaving Paris virtually anonymously. Since then, he has multiplied more or less exotic experiences without succeeding in relaunching his career.
