It is better to avoid the car this Monday morning, December 2. After obstructing the L2, the procession of nearly 300 angry taxis, departing from Valentine, is now on the A7, just like the two other processions leaving from Grand Littoral and Plan-de-Campagne. Everyone converges on the Lançon-de-Provence toll for a blocking operation.
The A7 is blocked at Vitrolles then at Croix de Coudoux. There are around ten kilometers of traffic jams in total. Exit 29 is recommended on the A7, near Vitrolles, towards Lyon
Earlier Monday morning, the procession leaving from La Valentine caused nearly 15 kilometers of traffic jams on the A50 in the Aubagne-Marseille direction.
The CRS tried to unblock one of the three routes, as planned. It took more than an hour to get from Aubagne to Marseille early this Monday morning.
The A54 is also congested
The A54, from Nîmes (A9) to Salon-de-Provence (A7) is also blocked for a few kilometers.
Reopening of the Saint-Loup tunnel
After a partial closure, the Saint-Loup Tunnel, in the Claudel/Florian direction, which provides access to the L2, reopened around 9:20 a.m. this Monday morning.
