Sunny, dry, and warmer this week

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – This week will see a warming trend and sunny conditions.

High Pressure Keeps Us Sunny and Warmer

Today was sunny on the western slope with a high temperature of 41 degrees and a low temperature of 22 degrees in Grand Junction. High pressure influence will keep us sunny and dry this week, and the temperatures will increase daily through mid-week with high temperatures near or at 50 degrees by Wednesday for areas such as Grand Junction, Montrose, and Delta. Southern areas of the western slope could hit 50 degrees as soon as Monday with Cortez forecasted to hit the mark then. Temperatures won’t warm much past that point and stay consistent in the upper 40s and low 50s through the rest of the week. Low temperatures this week will be in the mid 20s in the valley and upper teens to low 20s for the higher elevations. Enjoy the sunshine!

Forecast for the Denver Broncos Game Monday Night

The Denver Broncos play at home Monday night against the Cleveland Browns. Kickoff is at 6:15pm and it will be under mostly clear skies with a temperature of about 45 degrees. The temperature will drop throughout the game and at halftime it will be about 41 degrees then about 38 degrees during the 4th quarter.

High temperatures in the afternoon will be about 45 degrees in Grand Junction, 43 degrees in Montrose, 46 degrees in Delta, 47 degrees in Cortez, and 42 degrees in Moab.
