I didn't think there would be so many of you, it really warms my heart to see so many people mobilizing“, says a gendarmerie official in front of the many people, 800 in all, who came to take part this Friday in the new hunt organized to find Morgane, a 13-year-old girl who has been missing for five days. With the instructions given, many citizens began to search the around the young schoolgirl's home in Pabu (Côtes-d'Armor), near Guingamp.

Among them, family, friends, residents, young people but also retirees like Yvonne. “We look everywhere, we have to because we could miss something“, she underlines in the report on 1 p.m. on TF1 to be found at the top of this article. She had to mobilize. “I have children, I have grandchildren, and then I know the family a little bit so… I said I'll be there, I'm there“, she continues, sobs in her voice. The emotion is strong because the disappearance is described as worrying by the authorities.

Morgane left home Monday morning, without money, without a cell phone. No one would have seen her at her bus stop, nor in front of her college gates. Her mother thought she would see her again in the evening. “We had a parent-teacher meeting, so I told him 'don't forget to have a snack'. She told me, no worries, see you tonight. We don't understand…“, confides the mother in front of our camera. The parents had a disagreement this weekend with Morgane, who has never run away until then. Her mother remains hopeful of finding her and appeals to her, without holding back her tears : “Morgane, come back to us, give us something, because we can't take it anymore. We really want you back. We love you so much“.

The area to search is large, with many woods, a river and rural lodges. Several groups of 40 people disperse into the countryside. Some traveled miles, others reorganized their day to be present. “I was supposed to work this morning, but I'm going to work later, it doesn't mattera man tells us. It won't change anything, I'm a lumberjack, I cut down trees, they can wait. The kid is still more important“. The hunt is expected to last all day. A helicopter and a dog team are expected as reinforcements in the afternoon.
