Opening of the ticket office on December 3
The ticket office for this associative festival, which will announce the rest of its programming in the coming weeks, opens on December 3, according to a press release. The 32nd edition brought together nearly 250,000 festival-goers in July 2024.
Tensions with the mayor of Carhaix (various left) Christian Troadec threatened the future of the festival, until a conciliation meeting which confirmed its continuation in this rural commune in central Brittany (7,200 inhabitants).
The 31st edition broke an attendance record in 2023, with 346,000 participants over five days, one of the largest festivals in France. The economic benefits were estimated at 18.5 million euros in 2019, including 5 million for the Poher territory.
