Dubai chocolate is in great demand in Switzerland. Large chocolate manufacturers and small entrepreneurs produce them. The Confiserie Bachmann wants to be unique in this hype and produces Guardian Angels Dubai style.
“We teased the Guardian Angels Dubai-Style on our social media channels and when sales started, demand was huge,” says Elyne Hager, Head of Marketing, Sales Development and Category Management at Confiserie Bachmann. According to Hager, customers flocked directly to the stores and asked about the Dubai-style Guardian Angels.
At the beginning of November, the company decided to produce the Dubai-style guardian angels. The Guardian Angel has been in the Bachmann range since 2011 and Hager explains that the confectionery owns the brand, the shape and the appearance.
«The Guardian Angels Dubai-Style are an interpretation of Dubai chocolate that impresses from a culinary point of view. Because not every Dubai chocolate that is launched can claim that,” explains Elyne Hager. The confectionery consciously decided against creating a chocolate bar because even amidst the hype, the company wants to be a little different.
The enthusiasm doesn’t slow down and people continue to overrun the confectionery shops. The Guardian Angels Dubai style will only be available online again next week.
The company needed around three weeks of lead time before the Guardian Angel Dubai-Style could be sold. “This turned production upside down for a short time, but the efforts are paying off,” says Hager.
The confectionery will continue to produce Guardian Angels because demand for the product is not decreasing.
