Franky D. was also sentenced to a cancellation of his driving license and a ban on obtaining one for five years. His sentence was issued with a deferred committal warrant with provisional execution, which will lead to his incarceration even in the event of an appeal, specifies BFMTV. Eight years of imprisonment accompanied by a committal warrant as well as a ban on driving for ten years had been requested by the prosecution.
The young man was on trial alongside two other defendants, his father and his brother-in-law, prosecuted for gang theft. They were acquitted by the court, “with the benefit of the doubt” due to insufficiently characterized facts.

The brutal death of Antoine Alléno, at the age of 24, dates back to the evening of May 8, 2022. The young man was driving a scooter when he was hit by a driver, who was driving drunk, and without a license, at the wheel of a car stolen in the streets of 7e district of Paris. Before the collision, Franky D. committed multiple offenses and put the lives of at least nine people in danger.
