PARIS: Nicolas Daragon announces the launch of “17Cyber”, a platform to fight against cybercrime

Guest of La Grande interview Europe 1-CNews on Thursday, Nicolas Daragon, Minister Delegate in charge of Daily Security, announced the launch of “17Cyber”, a platform to fight against cyberattacks and cyberdelinquency.
How to fight cybercrime? Every year, around 300,000 people file complaints about cyberharassment or phishing. Faced with this situation, the government has decided to launch a unique platform, called “17Cyber”, to fight against cyberattacks and cyberdelinquency.

The platform will be launched on December 17

A platform on which it will be possible to file a complaint, said Nicolas Daragon, Minister Delegate in charge of Daily Security, guest of La Grande interview Europe 1-CNews on Thursday.

“They will be able to come into direct contact with a gendarme or a police officer. There will be a live chat like it exists on other websites and we will be able to get answers,” he announced.

The platform will launch on December 17, 2024 and will be available for free, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
