, OL, OM and sanctioned ()

The serious incidents that have occurred recently at the L1 and L2 stadiums were on the agenda this Wednesday evening for the LFP disciplinary committee. They were all sanctioned, with varying degrees of severity. OL first suffered a partial closure of the Groupama Stadium, corresponding to the location of the 1950 ultra group, for a match following the excesses recorded during the Rhône derby against Saint-Étienne (1-0), on November 10, even if it took place without supporting Stéphanois.

As soon as they arrived at the stadium, when they came onto the pitch after getting off their bus, well before the warm-up, the Greens were greeted with homophobic chants. And from the kick-off, the Lyon Ultras stood out again with the bursting of numerous smoke bombs. The smoke released was such that we could barely distinguish the players and even less the ball. The referee, Willy Delajod, was therefore forced to interrupt the match before the first minute of play. And it took more than five minutes to resume the game. It was not the first time that the ultras of Lyon 1950 distinguished themselves. On October 27, the day of their 15th anniversary, the match between Lyon and (2-2) was also interrupted almost a quarter of an hour after a wave of smoke bombs. Which explains this partial closure of the Lyon enclosure.
