Rail traffic was interrupted for a good part of the day between Nantes and Le Croisic (Loire-Atlantique), after a collision that was unusual to say the least. A TGV coming from Paris hit a large bale of straw. The engine was damaged and the passengers had to be transshipped. Accident or malicious act? The origin of this straw remains uncertain.

In its first communication, around 12:40 p.m., the SNCF mentioned a “obstacle on the tracks » , leading to an interruption of rail traffic between Nantes and Le Croisic, and Nantes and Redon, this Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at midday.
