Youth League – J5: 's invincibility continues, Italy failed to bring down the Mastiffs

Launched on a third journey, to Bologna, LOSC did not fail. Dominant then dominated, the Mastiffs snatched a draw (2-2) and continued their unbeaten streak in the Youth League.

But who will make the youth fall for it? It sometimes bends, but never breaks! Again this Wednesday, in Bologna, she was behind the first attempt of the day (Lucea 6′). The chances kept coming, first for the Italians (7′), then for the Mastiffs (9′, 21′), a sign that the intensity was present. Always in good shape since the start of the competition, Younes Lachaab opened the scoring with a strike from the edge of the area (22′). The response was nevertheless instantaneous with an equalizer from a cross header (23'). It was with this perfect tie (1-1) that the two teams returned to the locker room.

Surprisingly, the scenario was identical in the second half, but in the opposite direction. The Bolognese took the advantage for the first time, and the ascendancy in the game with a significant highlight. Samy Merzouk fortunately held his own in the cages with repeated saves, allowing Ousmane Touré to equalize on the hour mark (63'). Summoned with the professionals, whom he will support in a few hours, he left straight away (65′). The rest of the meeting was unbearable, both on one side and the other, as the opportunities multiplied. However, no one managed to regain the advantage and the match ended with a draw (2-2).

Still undefeated in the competition, the Lille youth are satisfied with 19th place with seven points on the clock. It must be said that she is progressing slowly with four draws and one success recorded since entering the Youth League. There is only one game left to play and it will all come down to SK Sturm Graz.
