Last night, Artificial Core officially launched Corepunk – though not without one final delay to cap off years of them. It’s tradition, at this point, right?
“A top-down isometric title set in a rich, immersive world, Corepunk invites players to take down monsters, defeat champions, and discover an intensely atmospheric new realm. […] Corepunk is an immersive, open-world MMORPG and MOBA that combines deep character customization, an intriguing fog-of-war mechanic, and seamless PvE and PvP experiences to create a dynamic, player-driven world. Its diverse classes and intricate skill trees allow for unique playstyles, while its rich, cyber-fantasy setting and engaging storylines draw players into an adventure that’s both strategic and visually stunning.”
“We hope you all have a great time exploring Corepunk,” the devs told fans on Discord. “Please remember it is Early Access, and the game still needs a lot of work. If you notice that your skins aren’t displaying correctly according to your packs, please don’t worry—we’ll resolve this within the next couple of days. We’re also working to fix any other bugs that might arise.”
The press release includes another warning that the game is in early access and that the Ukrainian dev team consider this “the last stage of alpha testing.” You should also expect a big influx of content over the next few months as the team held back quite a bit that had been delayed over technical work. The current version of the game should include more than “300 hours of quality content” as it is, though.
Do note that preorder packs are coming down in lieu of new early access bundles. Since you’re going to ask, no, the game isn’t on Steam (yet?), so we don’t know how well it’s going over. The official launch is coming “by the end of 2025.”
