A “attack collectively” broke out on Tuesday, November 26 in a bar in the city of Bologna (Italy) where around thirty LOSC supporters were present, 24 hours before the Champions League meeting between the two clubs.

While Lille residents were gathered to watch the Inter Milan match in an Irish pub, nearly 80 Bolognese ultras entered the bar in search of northern supporters. People from Lille who were present at the time of the incident say: “we were very scared“, “we found ourselves in an ambush“.

This brawl left two people injured by stab wounds: one was hit in the stomach; the other to the face and thorax, but his life is not in danger. They are between 25 and 30 years old and have received medical care.

LOSC condemns “without reservation“this aggression and describes it as”coward” et “intolerable“. A brawl that contradicts “the values of football and popular support“.

On the Italian side, measures have been taken by the police to “strengthen the supervision and reception of the Lille public in Bologna“.

For those present in Italy, the Lille club calls for “greater vigilance“, so that this trip takes place in secure conditions.
