Bayern coach Vincent Kompany commented on the criticism that the Munich team has not yet won against any big opponents.
Munich – At the press conference before the home game against Paris Saint-German, Bayern coach Kompany found surprisingly clear words and made it clear: “Criticism doesn’t play a role for me, it has never been important and it won’t be in the future either. What’s important is how the team lives and improves, how each individual player develops, even if they are already top players.”
In the premier class, after wins against Zagreb and Benfica Lisbon, they have six points and 17th place in the table – at the moment that is still behind Munich’s expectations. Kompany continued: “We don’t make any distinction between the games. Not all games are easy. It’s a great opportunity for us to show our fans something tomorrow.”
“Looking at the current table is difficult”
The Bayern coach also appealed to the attitude of his team and wants to see all eleven players push themselves to their personal limits on the pitch: “But the mentality always has to be the same, regardless of the opponent. Hopefully our fans can go home tomorrow with a good feeling.”

Kompany continued: “With three games won we are in the qualification, with six games you are in the top eight. That’s about what I can say. There are a lot of teams that we haven’t seen yet and won’t see until at least February. Looking at the table at the moment is difficult.” It is also not that easy to compare the teams with each other at the moment, as the upcoming opponents in the premier class differ from team to team.
