Luis Enrique has said that his Paris St-Germain side will be brave and take risks against Bayern Munich as they aim for only their second win in this season’s Champions League.
PSG are 25th in the 36-team table after a 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid earlier this month and face 17th-placed Bayern, who have had their share of troubles in Europe too.
“We made things difficult for ourselves. Football is what it is. You have to score. We will give it our all, we will be brave, we will take risks, as we usually do,” Enrique said.
Vincent Kompany’s Bayern, meanwhile, suffered back-to-back defeats to Aston Villa and Barcelona, but bounced back by edging Benfica 1-0 and are on a six-match winning run across all competitions.
“We are not used to being so far down. We have to win the remaining games to get into the top eight. There’s a lot at stake, we are aware of that,” said Bayern striker Harry Kane.
