Wars in the Middle East

As a reminder, since September, the Israeli army – IDF – has claimed attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon, particularly in the southern part of its capital, Beirut.

This new escalation of tensions in the Middle East began with the explosion of dozens of pagers and walkie-talkies among members of the terrorist group. Israel claimed responsibility for this manipulation of technologies used by Hezbollah for military purposes. Since then, hundreds of civilians have lost their lives.

A few weeks after the start of the offensive in Lebanon, Iran sent nearly 200 missiles towards Israel, the vast majority intercepted by the famous “iron dome” of the Hebrew State. But tensions between these two countries continued, as did the IDF attacks in Lebanon.

Added to this, since the Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023, have been the IDF attacks on the Gaza Strip. More than 43,000 people have died there since.
