Rain is the name of the game on this Tuesday. A front moving in from the west will bring late-morning showers, and periods of rain by the afternoon. The good news for those of you hoping to be out and about, is that the front is a fast-mover. So, by this evening, the rain will be gone and clouds will be starting to clear. That will lead into a mostly clear night, with temperatures back in the low 30s as we wake up on Wednesday.
Wednesday will bright and crisp, with temperatures in the upper 40s and a mix of sun & clouds. For anyone traveling ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, Wednesday’s weather (locally) certainly won’t get in your way!
On the flip side, if you’re hopping in the car or headed to the airport on Thanksgiving day, we have trouble ahead. A storm moving through the Northeast will bring rain to Rhode Island, the South Coast, and the Cape throughout the day. The same storm will give northern New England (and some of the higher elevations of Massachusetts) a taste of winter. Plan for extra time on the roads, and make sure you’re checking on your flight times as this storm could certainly bring delays!
While we’ll wake up to some leftover clouds (and leftover food) on Friday morning, the wet weather will be gone. Temperatures will be in the mid 40s. From there, things get really chilly to end November and start December. The weekend will be sunny, but high temperatures will only be in the low 40s!
