Who said they couldn't get along? The fast food brands Burger King and KFC are joining forces and offering from this Wednesday, November 27 in France a “BFF Burger”, a common sandwich which will be marketed in both brands with the same recipe, with one difference.
“Sesame seed bread, exclusive White BBQ sauce, Onion Rings, melted cheddar, Iceberg salad, tomatoes, crispy onions” on both sides, but different meat. At Burger King, count on their “inimitable flame-grilled meat”, compared to “the colonel’s crispy chicken” for KFC, flagship products in each of the franchises.
This collaborative burger, called the “BFF Burger” for “Best Friends Forever” (best friends forever)will be sold in all the restaurants of the two chains until December 16, i.e. nearly a thousand establishments in France. The sandwiches will also be available in a vegetarian version regardless of the brand concerned.
A promotional video was also posted online in which we can see employees of the two restaurant groups collaborating within the same establishment in front of stunned customers.
The brands had cast doubt on their association in recent days on social networks by relaying messages on X where KFC products appeared in Burger King restaurants and vice versa. They state in a joint press release that they have “decided to put their rivalry aside” for the duration of this marketing operation.
