Miss France 2025: a candidate is injured just a few weeks before the election

On the program? Visits, masterclasses, excursions and photo shoots. But unfortunately, everything did not go as planned for a candidate. Indeed, Marine Futol, 18, stepped on a fish bone while walking on the beach, reported our colleagues at Tele-Leisure. The ridge having sunk into her foot, the young woman had to be treated by the medical team on site, who advised Miss Réunion not to put her foot on the ground for a week. A very disabling detail for the young woman who will parade in just a few weeks live on TF1. Despite everything, Marine Futol did not let herself be discouraged and participated in the activities planned in the Miss schedule, while taking care of her foot. The student notably arrived at a shooting on a medical chair, so as not to have to put it down.

Miss France 2025: Maëva Coucke teaches candidates the art of falling

Fortunately for her, Marine Futol can still follow the advice of former Miss France, present in Ivory Coast for the occasion. The thirty candidates notably had the opportunity to follow a masterclass led by Maëva Coucke, Miss France 2018. The latter notably taught the regional Misses the art of parade, but also the art of falling! “Ask for anti-slip patches to put under your heels for those who don't have them. You absolutely need one!“, she advised in particular to avoid falling. But the young woman also taught them how to react in the event of a fall: “How you get up is more important than the fall itself. (…) Don’t take too long to get up! People want to see your face. Above all, keep smiling!” Valuable advice that will undoubtedly be very useful to candidates!
