Stade Brestois travels to Barcelona, Tuesday November 26, for the 5th day of the Champions League. Breton supporters have already arrived on site by the hundreds.
The Breton flag brandished in the streets of Barcelona. Monday, November 25, a square in the heart of the Catalan capital vibrates to the rhythm of 3,000 Breton supporters who came to support their team. Their club is competing in the prestigious Champions League for the first time and faces a football monument: FC Barcelona, five times winner of the competition. A historic match for Brest supporters. “For us, little Brest residents, to come to this great football city, it’s incredible”explains a supporter.
Barely time for sightseeing when the objective is to recover the precious seats for the evening match. The Brestois are savoring this new European page in their history, without complexes with their 10 points and fourth place in this qualifying phase. 2,800 Stade Brestois supporters are expected in the stadium parking lot.
