The neighborhood store in León that has a turnover of millions of euros

The owners' son has turned a small store in León into a true giant

40 years ago, next to the cathedral of León, Víctor Juárez Pizarro's parents opened a humble 80 square meter stationery store. Today, that small business is the seed of “My Art Store”, an emporium of artistic and craft material that has a turnover of millions of euros and operates worldwide.

The leap was made by Víctor Juárez when, from Mexico and at only 23 years old, he created an online store to support the family business. In just two months, digital sales surpassed physical sales, forcing him to return to Spain to take the reins. Currently, the company generates 24 million euros annually and expects to reach 30 million this year, with a year-on-year growth of 30%.

Under two brands, Craftelier, only for online sales, and Hartem, which has an incredible physical store and a website, they have revolutionized the sector. Last December, they opened a store of more than 1,000 m² in the center of Madrid, in a historic building, and offer 40,000 products in store and 140,000 online.

Furthermore, a few months ago its CEO told 'Entrepreneurs' that they were creating a bar-cafeteria to promote the artistic community, with workshops, talks and walls open to urban art, with which they want to “be the Gijón Café for contemporary artists.” .
