1,400 homes still without power, “all our teams are mobilized”

Updated at 12 p.m.: 1,400 homes are without electricity in Burgundy, including 800 in Saône-et-. 250 agents and 15 teams from partner companies are still on the ground. The objective is to restore the situation during the day.

They have had no power for over 24 hours. At 8 a.m., 1,900 homes were still without electricity in Burgundy Franche-Comté. Blame it on depression “Bert”which caused serious damage to power lines.

All our teams are still mobilized.

On Monday, November 25, nearly 8,700 customers were without electricity throughout the region according to Enedis. At the end of the day, 5,800 were still affected: 300 in Yonne700 in Nièvre, 800 in Côte-d’Or. 250 technicians are mobilized throughout the territory.

It is mainly Saône-et-Loire which suffered greatly from the depression “Bert” with 4,000 households affected. The windy episode lasted all day yesterday. All our teams are hard at work and working to restore the situation.”confirms the Enedis communications department.

Météo France had placed Saône-et-Loire on alert orange wind this Monday, November 25, and there was no shortage of it. Gusts of more than 100 km/h were recorded in the morning near Mâcon, Paray-le-Monial and in the west of the department.

In Charolles, the roof of the boarding school was partly torn off by the wind this Monday. In particular, 20 firefighters intervened. No injuries were reported, but a crisis unit was set up.
