“Eliminating mistakes is crucial,” stated Flick during his Monday press conference, revealing that he has urged his players to take another step forward, even after victories over Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
“We still have many aspects to improve upon with the ball, and that’s where our focus lies,” he continued.
Flick acknowledged that Barcelona should have defended better after being reduced to ten men against Celta, following the red card shown to Marc Casadó.
“We have a young team; I believe it is the youngest in La Liga. It’s not always a straight road where you can speed through; you have to be careful in certain situations,” he added.

“We need to learn that when we are leading 2-0, with a red card, we must defend much better than we did,” he emphasized.
Barcelona currently sits sixth in the Champions League standings with three victories and one defeat in four matches, preparing to face an opponent in fourth place in the competition, despite their twelfth position in Ligue 1.
“Physically, we have a very challenging rival ahead, who is performing well in the Champions League,” Flick warned.
“If we can implement our style of play, it will be difficult for us to lose. It all depends on how we press and our intensity. If our pressure is effective, it’s very hard to beat us,” Martínez asserted.
