Caution is required today for Lower Normandy, Finistère, Haute-Savoie, Ardèche, Gard and Pas-de-Calais. Indeed, storms, avalanches and floods are expected. This bulletin uses weather data updated on November 26 at 5:00 a.m.
A department on storm alert
The risk of thunderstorms is high in Finistère. Following observations from Météo-France, a yellow vigilance level was declared. Today, cumulative precipitation could reach 19.35 mm locally, and the wind will be strong. Hail events and some electrical activity may also accompany these storms.
Avalanche risks in a department
Haute-Savoie is the subject of a yellow vigilance notice from Météo-France due to an avalanche risk. In addition to this alert, a potential change in weather and temperatures could impact areas located downstream by causing flooding.
Floods in 6 departments
In addition, Météo-France announces a yellow vigilance level for Lower Normandy, Ardèche, Gard and Pas-de-Calais due to flooding. Rain (0.17 mm) is forecast locally. Residents near Auzon, Touques, Vidourle and the Aa river are urged to be vigilant due to the risk of flooding.
The alerts in progress today will end at the end of the evening at midnight.
