Val-de-: a man seriously injured the evening of Storm Caetano has died: News

During the night of Thursday 21 to Friday 22 November, Storm Caetano caused numerous road accidents, particularly on the A6B motorway, in Val-de-. Among the victims, a seriously injured man died from his injuries, TF1 reported.

On the evening of Thursday, November 21, part of was affected by Storm Caetano. On the A6B motorway, near L'Haÿ-les-Roses (Val-de-Marne), five people were seriously injured and 31 were more lightly injured in a terrible road accident. Three days after this tragedy, one of the victims died.

According to information from Actu17, confirmed by the Créteil public prosecutor's office, the victim is a 46-year-old police officer, who was driving one of the cars involved in the pileup. The toll could also rise further, because there remains another victim, a motorcyclist, whose vital prognosis was in jeopardy on Thursday. As reported by TF1, the Créteil public prosecutor's office announced this Monday, November 25, that it had no evidence of“updating your state of health”. Furthermore, the investigation which was initially opened for unintentional injuries was reclassified as homicide and unintentional injuries, a police source told our colleagues.

A series of particularly violent accidents

As a reminder, this pileup was caused by the fall of a motorcyclist on the A6B motorway. To avoid it, a car suddenly braked, forcing a Blablacar bus to perform a new complicated maneuver. The bus unfortunately ended up turning over and colliding head-on with several vehicles. According to the Blablacar company, it is indeed the motorcycle that “would have lost control” first. “Investigations are continuing at the CRS motorway to determine the circumstances of the accident”thus concluded the prosecution.
