Mason Vale Cotton looks completely unrecognisable years after he appeared in Desperate Housewives.

The American drama series ran for 180 episodes, debuting in 2004 and running for eight seasons until 2012.

The young actor was just a round five or six when he appeared as M.J. Delfino in the fifth season of the show which premiered on September 28, 2008.

He was a recurring cast member in the fifth season but upgraded to an ‘also starring’ character in the final seasons of the show.

Alongside the all-star cast including Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Van de Kamp, and Eva Longoria as Gabrielle Solis, Mason played the son of Susan Mayer and Mike Delfino, played by Teri Hatcher and James Denton.

Mason was just a boy when he was in the show but he is now 22 and looks entirely different all grown up.

As a child, the actor also played Bobby Draper in the AMC drama series Mad Men between 2012 and 2015.

He received a nomination for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for this role in 2016.

Mason has since taken on more minor roles and his social media suggests that he is more focused on playing sports, with a position as a wide receiver at the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps football team.

October 2024 marked the 20th anniversary of the hit drama, with the cast reflecting on their time on the show.

The series was plagued by huge feud rumours and constant reports of tension between the four lead stars on set. Drea de Matteo revealed in an interview with Metro that she was ‘definitely warned’ about the tension on the set of the show when she guest-starred in the sixth season.

The star also confessed that she makes far more money now on OnlyFans than she did on the iconic TV series.
