Queues at the Voting Stations in Bucharest in the First Round of the Presidential Elections

At the time of writing, 875,000 Bucharest residents voted, out of a total of almost 1.8 million registered on the permanent lists. Bucharest currently has the best voter turnout in the whole country.

Bucharest is followed by Iași (42%), Cluj (54%), Prahova (49%) and Timiș (48%).

At this time, nationwide turnout exceeded 50 percent, with a total of 9.145 million voters.
