“Give me the Asian girl”: rapper Kanye West accused of sexual assault and strangulation by a model during the filming of a video

Already targeted by complaints of abusive behavior by former employees and sexual assault by his former head of personnel, a new complaint has been added to the Kanye West file. This time, it is a model who says she was sexually assaulted and strangled by the rapper.

The facts allegedly occurred at the Chelsea Hotel in New York, according to a complaint which was filed in the Southern District Court of New York, while the rapper is already accused of sexual assault by his former chief of staff. The plaintiff, Jenifer An, is a model who was an actress in the background of another singer's video in which Kanye West was a guest, according to information from the American media NBC. She accuses the rapper of sexual assault “in a way similar to gagging porn/deep throat/BDSM fetish.”

According to the plaintiff, when Kanye West arrived, he took control of production. He would have asked the actresses to “line up in the hallway”. Once lined up, Kanye West allegedly ordered two women to follow them before declaring “give me the asian girl”the complainant therefore who says she is dressed with “revealing lingerie”. She explains having followed him, uncomfortably, into a suite with a sofa and a camera

Kanye West then allegedly positioned two chairs facing each other and “began to strangle the complainant with one hand.” “He then wrapped his other hand around her neck and continued to strangle her with both hands.” to then push him “several fingers down her throat, pumping them in and out continuously, and gagged her to imitate forced fellatio.”

According to the report, Kanye West shouted afterwards “It's art. It's shitty art. I'm like Picasso”. The model specifies that she had “the feeling of having temporarily lost consciousness” after finding herself full of saliva and makeup. The rapper's record label Universal Music Group is also named in the complaint and accused of failing to investigate the matter.

In a press release the complainant states that “Women working in the music and entertainment industries have been victims of sexual abuse for years, with no recourse to speak out against the abuse or make change.”
