Five games in a row without a loss and perhaps even more importantly: the first away win of the season. The RSCA Futures are finally getting up to speed and they scored their second three-pointer of the season against Lokeren-Temse.
Because Francs Borains also won easily with the emergency team of SK Deinze, the red lantern will remain in their possession anyway, but given the current form, some positivity is appropriate.

However, the match started with some perilous moments for the Purple & White. After Angulo lost the ball early, Sam Van Aerschot’s attempt hit the post, and moments later he shot wide again. Anderlecht did not leave a mark and saw Angulo hit the crossbar with a fantastic action. After halftime the game turned around. Goalkeeper Timo Schlieck kept his team afloat with a spectacular save and moments later Angulo scored via the post after preparatory work by Robbie Ure.
In the final offensive of Lokeren-Temse, Schlieck had to perform again, and even in injury time RSCA Futures was lucky when Keisuke Goto was unable to capitalize on a misunderstanding by the home team. “We got away well a few times in the beginning of the match, but in the end we fought our way into the match,” concluded Coen with satisfaction.
