After the polling stations closed, the big counting entered its final spurt on Sunday afternoon. Around 750 vote counters were on duty in the city of Bern on the election weekend.
In the Weissenstein sports hall on the border with the municipality of Köniz, around 200 people got ready on Sunday afternoon to evaluate the ballots and ballot papers that had not yet been processed.
