In the canton of Bern there are votes and elections in several municipalities. Important decisions in alphabetical order.

Burgdorf
Stefan Berger (SP) remains mayor with 3,865 votes. His challenger Jonas Lauwiner, self-proclaimed “King of Burgdorf”, received 892 votes.
Herzogenbuchsee
Voters say no to the 2025 budget and therefore also no to the tax increase from 1.65 to 1.8 units.
Huttwil
Adrian Wüthrich (SP) is the new mayor with 983 votes. The second candidate, Marcel Sommer (SVP), received 822 votes and is now leaving the local council due to term limits.
Interlaken
The 2025 budget was approved with 50.8 percent yes votes.
sweeping rate
The municipal council remains in FDP hands: Christoph Läderach achieved the absolute majority with 788 votes. His challenger Laura Rossi from the Green Party received 534 votes.
Spiez
The partial revision of the building regulations was approved with 3,083 yes votes to 631 no votes. The regulation on terms and measurement methods in construction can now be implemented on time.
Thun
Voters say yes to reducing the tax system with 92.9 percent yes votes. This reduces the tax rate from 1.72 to 1.66 units and approves the 2025 budget.
