Today, Saturday 23 November 2024, the women's special slalom will be held in Gurgl, Austria. A two-run test with the first scheduled pin at 10.30am. Live free-to-air on Rai and RaiPlay.

The Alpine Skiing World Cup returns for the second event of the season today, Saturday 23 November in Gurgl, Austria where the women's special slalom will take place starting at 10.30am. The two heats will be visible both on and in streaming on the Rai and RaiPlay channels.

The technical director Gianluca Rulfi confirmed the blocking of seven athletes who had participated in the Levi slalom for the second round of the World Cup among the narrow poles scheduled in Gurgl, among which we find Martina Peterlini, who finished in the top 20 in Finland, and Lucrezia Lorenzi, sister of the young Matilde, who passed away following a tragic training accident. There will not be Federica Brignone and Sofia Boggia who are busy in North America together with Marta Bassino, Roberta Melesi and Nicol Delago, who will be joined on November 26th by Laura Pirovano, Teresa Runggaldier, Nadia Delago, Elena Curtoni, Sara Thaler and Vicky Bernardi.

For the women's special slalom taking place in Austria, there will therefore be seven Italian athletes at the start, “captained” between the poles by Martina Peterlini, already among the best 20 athletes in Finland at the debut of this 2024 Alpine Skiing World Cup. The special women's slam which takes place today Saturday 23 November in Gurgl in Austria will be possible to see it in full both free-to-air and by paying. In the latter case it will be seen on Eurosport for Sky, DAZN and Discovery+ subscribers. What time is the World Cup slalom held?

The 2024 Alpine Skiing World Cup women's special slalom on the snow of Gurgl, Austria will be held in double heats. The first will start at 10.30am, while the second is scheduled from 1.30pm with the starting order of the best of the first, in the last phase.
