The first echoes of the next season of “LOL: Who laughs, come out!” suggested that Muriel Robin had slammed the door on production in the middle of filming. Rumors to which the comedian returned on Friday November 22 in “C à Vous”.

A necessary clarification. Guest on the set of C to you on Friday November 22 with her partner Anne Le Nen, Muriel Robin was questioned by Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine about her time in the fifth season of LOL: Who laughs, comes out! worn in particular by the director Artus and the actor Vincent Dedienne. Because if the show has not yet been broadcast, many reports already place Muriel Robin as one of the personalities who gave the production the most trouble. Accusations that the actress had difficulty living with, she explained in front of the 5 cameras: “It hurt me a lot, a lot.”

Indeed, several testimonies accused him of having “gone crazy”. A story against which Pierre Palmade's former friend fought for many years, undertaking significant work on herself. “I have been working on myself for thirty years to become the person I am today”she said, recognizing that she was able in the past to be as aggressive as she was described on the set of the program presented by Philippe Lacheau. “I was ashamed of who I was. I no longer dared to leave my house.” She subsequently consulted several psychologists, worked on herself, read, and was able to reinvent herself. “It's long, it's very difficult, it's my most beautiful work. (…) I'm never proud of anything, I'm proud of that. It's visible on me I think, I'm no longer the same person. My loved ones speak of a metamorphosis. I became who I was meant to be.” So, “When someone tells me that I lost my temper, it pierces my heart. This should not be touched, firstly, and secondly, what was said is false!”

Muriel Robin: who are the women who mattered in her life?

But then, what happened?

After this clarification, Muriel Robin wanted to tell the story behind the scenes of the program, explaining at the same time what could have pushed her to want to leave in the middle of filming. “A sentence was thrown, which I did not understand, an indication. (…) And at one point, there is a sentence that comes out which suggests to me that perhaps I am not funny enough. But it “It's me, and my self-confidence problem that I haven't resolved, because we never resolve it, that makes me tell myself that I'm not funny enough.” She then states: “So I'm not losing my temper, I'm crying! I've never lost my temper!” And to remind: “There are pictures of everything anyway!” She then describes her need to leave the film set, feeling that she will “burst into tears” : “I want to do it elsewhere. And then I'm running into my problem, which is effectively saying to myself: 'But why are you thinking that maybe you're not funny?' And yet that’s what I tell myself at that moment.” An important testimony, which announces a fifth season different from the others for LOL: Who laughs, comes out!.
