How were you recruited?
Sofia Morgavi : I received a message on Instagram from the assistant of Jeanne Collin, the casting director of Star Academy. It was all the more surprising since I had not contacted the program team. In fact, it's Eric Jetner, who plays in the musical Notre-Dame de Pariswho I coached before her audition, which named Jeanne Collin my name.

Are you the same teacher at Star Academy as in your professional life?
I have coached thousands of people during my career. Many wrote to me to tell me that they had this strange sensation, when seeing me on the screen, of being next to me. I think I remained spontaneous. I have an approach that is both educational and fun. It's important for young artists to free their voice while having fun.

I had the chance, three weeks before Star Academy, to play in two episodes of Life is more beautiful, even more beautiful, on TF1. I also made an appearance in Household scenes (M6) and I also lent my voice, for an episode around the opera Carmen, in Research section (TF1). Today, I am offered a lot of things. In particular, I have the project of a piece by Wilfried Bosch, entitled Who is afraid of Marie Curie ?
