Although no date has yet been announced for season 5 of LOL: who laughs, gets out!, rumors are circulating about a so-called “altercation” between Muriel Robin and Arthus. Invited in C to you, the wife of Anne Le Nen has finally come out of silence to reestablish the truth, her truth.
After four exceptional seasons, LOL: whoever laughs, gets out! has established itself as one of the funniest programs of recent years. By reinventing the game of the king of silence, by preventing its candidates from laughing, Prime Video found a hilarious concept. But for several weeks, a far from funny rumor was circulating about Muriel Robin. The 69-year-old comedian allegedly showed bad humor, to the point of being judged “intolerable” by Artus. Anne Le Nen's wife would have “shown annoyed at the idea of not having been able to play her joker card – a sequence allowing each candidate to present a sketch with the aim of making as many contestants laugh – earlier in the show“. Behavior which would have led to his expulsion from the program.
Rumors denied earlier in the day this Friday, November 22 by the boss of Endemol France, Jean-Louis Blot. Guest in Sud Radio Media the president of the production company confirmed that Pierre Palmade's former friend would indeed be part of the cast of the next season. “Muriel Robin is present in the show, yes.“, he said. For her part, Muriel Robin was present on the set of C to you and she also spoke about her participation in the Prime Video show.
Muriel Robin comes out of the silence and confirms her presence in LOL: whoever laughs, gets out!
Questioned by Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine, the actress wanted to return to the rumors to which she is the subject. “It hurt me a lot. I've been working on myself for 30 years to become who I am today. I was that person: I lost my temper, I was angry, I was aggressive.”, she confessed. Before continuing: “So much so that I30 years ago, I was ashamed of who I wasI no longer dared to leave my house. The day I was able to go out was to see a psychologist.” Muriel Robin said she worked a lot on her: “It’s my most beautiful work. I’m never proud of anything, I’m proud of that.” She then added: “When people say that I lost my temper, they pierce my heart.”
The comedian wanted to set the record straight: “What was said is false. A sentence was misunderstooda sentence comes out and suggests to me that I'm not funny. But It's me and my self-confidence problem (…) I tell myself that I'm not funny enough and I cry! I'm crying: I've never lost my temper and yes, I want to go out, because I feel like I'm going to burst into tears (…) Fortunately, Endemol arrives, fixes all that and everything ends wonderfully well, that's all, period“. Muriel Robin then concluded that she would be good on screen, looking forward to seeing if she finds herself funny. On our side, no doubt!
